Sir Paul’s been busy this year. Not content with meeting President Barack Obama at the White House, playing his first-ever gig in Peru and performing to 1.5m fans over a live internet broadcast, the Liverpool born musician rounded off his year with a wedding and a homecoming.
After yesterday’s wedding to American businesswoman Nancy Shevell, he announced he would play at the Liverpool Echo Arena, a year to the day since his last performance here, an intimate gig at Liverpool’s O2 Academy.
Starting with his first-ever United Arab Emirates concert on November 13th, he will play a string of eleven shows, finishing up in Liverpool on December 20th.
