Homotopia 2011 take place across Liverpool from the 1st to the 30th of November. This year’s theme is ‘Cruising For Art’, featuring events that will “showcase an array of the queer, the bold, the unexpected and the daring.” Featuring a number of events such as visual art, theatre, dance, film and literature, including Liverpool’s first Alternative Miss Liverpool.

There is also a feature on Homotopia 2010 that is certainly worth a look. Homotopia.tv features a gallery of videos from the 2010 festival, as well as local Liverpool based films and other features.
Homotopia also supports Project Triangle, an anti bullying and Hate Crime education pack. The Project Triangle anti bullying resource is the only resource in the UK to explain bullying in the context of Hate Crime, define and explain the consequences of Hate Crime and offer support for those targeted by bullying and hatred.
